Project includes launching the 2014 industry-leading LexisNexis Bellwether Report

Business of Law, the LexisNexis owned legal blog and online community, has appointed London-based agencies MONK and Badger PR to join forces on the platform’s 2014 marketing strategy.

Established as a leading authority on legal, tax and business solutions, LexisNexis currently delivers services to over 60,000 organisations in the UK, helping practitioners be more productive in a changing and challenging legal environment.

With the company keen to focus on helping independent practitioners, MONK and Badger PR have been charged with revamping the Business of Law platform, which serves to support small and solo law practitioners around the UK.

The pair will also head-up the launch of the second annual LexisNexis Bellwether report, the leading piece of research into the UK law market that was first commissioned last year.

Matt Jones, Managing Director of MONK, said:

“The Business of Law campaign is the latest of many projects that MONK has been helping LexisNexis with and obviously we are proud that they are keen to continue our fantastic working relationship.

“Our efforts will be focused on producing a fantastic user experience for visitors to the Business of Law blog while driving subscriptions using teaser films and targeted online advertising.

“The Bellwether report is obviously a defining piece of research and we will produce plenty of exciting content in order to further its reach and accessibility.”

Becky Westaway, Managing Director of Badger PR, said:

“We’re delighted to partner with both LexisNexis and MONK on this project and our appointment shows Badger PR’s growing reputation amongst industry-leading businesses.

“The Bellwether report is sure to produce a host of news-worthy content and we will be liaising with the relevant national and industry specific media to ensure it generates the coverage it deserves.

“We are also very much looking forward to helping progress the content and PR plan throughout the year to help cement The Business of Law as the support network for small practitioners in the UK.”
