Badger PR launches product for small businesses: PR in a Jar

Badger PR are pleased to announce a new product, PR in a Jar, providing small businesses with a unique and cost effective ‘do it yourself’ public relations package bespoke to their business needs.

PR in a Jar will start with two new packages priced affordably so that any business can literally just pick up the phone and start building their reputation within the business community today.

Each package will be built and written specifically for the business giving them the tools they need to stand out in a crowded market place in a very easy to use format. Documents will include press releases, media contacts within their industry sector, messaging and positioning for all their marketing materials and top tips for talking to the media.

Becky Ribbans, Director and Founder of Badger PR, commented: “As a small business ourselves we know and understand how hard it is to be able to afford access to top marketing services to grow your business. So we put together PR in a Jar to close the divide and give businesses the opportunity and know how to do it themselves.”

Small businesses can choose from either of the two packages:

- Strategy document: how to position and sell your brand
- 3x press releases written over a six month period
- Complete media contacts list

Happy New Year

So what can we expect from the long anticipated year of 2012?

For starters we know it’s going to be a bumper year of activity with the Olympics, diamond jubilee and an extra bank holiday to name a few. But what we all want to know is how will our economy fair?

Whatever your business I think it’s fair to say that 2012 is going to be another year of survival of the fittest. Cutting back and protecting ourselves is still going to be one of our key priorities but make sure you don’t cut back on getting yourself out there. Consumers and businesses are still looking to make purchases, it’s just their approach is just going to be more considered. As Nick Stace said this week in The Telegraph, businesses need to change the way they interact with their customers. Brands can no longer hide behind a logo, we are all on show and more accountable for our actions then ever before thanks to social media. However the great news is that our customers want to interact with us so all we need to do is watch, listen and learn.

At Badger PR we’re kicking off the year with a bang as this week we’ve sent off a high profile celebrity and media to Africa, visiting some of Kenya’s most impoverished regions to discover the issues and solutions behind energy access, more on which will be coming soon.

I know for me personally the New Year feels like a distant memory but there’s no sign of the January blues at Badger PR because 2012 is going to be the year to watch. Whatever your year holds for you we wish you all the best of luck and hopefully we’ll be seeing you soon.

Best wishes,

Becky Ribbans
